Over 3,000 queue up to visit Antipa Museum in Bucharest on opening day
Over 3,000 people went to visit the National Museum of Natural History “Grigore Antipa” in the capital city in the opening day last week-end. The museum was re-opened on Saturday at 10:00 hours, after almost three years of modernization works.
The new modern Antipa Museum has interactive systems to present the exhibits, InfoTouch screens, and 3D projection. To see the museum you have to pay a ticket of RON 20. The museum’s program is from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10:00 hours and 19:00 hours. The museum organizes guided tours for groups of more than 10 people, either in French or in English, for RON 100. You can also choose the audio guide, available in English or in French, for RON 10. The tariff for professional photographers is of RON 1,000 an hour.
The modernization works at the National Museum of Natural History “Grigore Antipa” started in 2009, and amounted to about EUR 13 million.
