More than 370,000 unemployed Romanians found jobs in 2014 through the National Action Plan for Employment, most of them as unqualified workers and sellers, according to the Ministry of Labour.

The number went up with almost 44,000 compared to 2013, when 327,823 people found a job through this program.

Of the 371,363 unemployed who got hired in 2014, some 77,000 were under 25, 88,000 were between 25 and 35, 92,000 were between 35-45, 52,000 were over 45, and some 60,000, over 50.

Over half of those who found jobs - or 59.97%-  come from urban areas and 42.03% from rural areas.

In a ranking of counties, Timis occupies a leading position, with 24,806 people employed in 2014.
