Over 50 short films from 27 countries to be screened at DaKINO festival this November

The 21th edition of DaKINO international film festival will be held in Bucharest between November 21 and November 26 and will include 57 short films from 27 countries. The festival will take place at Patria cinema, Scala cinema and the New Cinema of the Romanian Director within the Romanian Peasant Museum in Bucharest.

This year’s selection made by film critic Irina Margareta Nistor for the Short Film Competition includes several Romanian short films like “Growing”, directed by Roxana Bentu, “Grand Hotel Italia”, directed by Rodi Cotenescu, “Lost Springs 2”, directed by Andrei Dobrescu, and “Superman, Spiderman or Batman”, directed by Tudor Giurgiu. The films will compete for the DaKINO trophy, best director, best cinematography and the special award of the jury. The total value of the awards will amount to EUR 8,000.
