Over half of Romanians believe regionalization is beneficial
Regionalization would improve the country’s public affairs management and would be a positive thing, said more than half of the people interviewed for a study conducted by the Romanian Institute for Evaluation and Strategy (IRES).
They believe regionalization would bring more European funds and a closer cooperation with other communities from the country and the EU, reports local Agerpres.
Over 30% of the respondents said that bureaucracy would lower following the regionalization.
More than four in ten said that regionalization would improve public services and create more jobs.
