This year’s Bucharest OST Fest, organized at Romexpo between June 15 and 17, will also feature Overkill, Lake of Tears and W.A.S.P. They join English rock stalwarts Motorhead, American metal merchants Mötley Crüe and Megadeth, and Swedish rock band Europe.

Overkill (in picture) are an American thrash metal band, formed in 1980 in New Jersey. The band has so far released 15 studio albums, 2 EPs, 2 live albums and an album of covers. Their concert, on June 15 at Romexpo, Bucharest, is part of the tour promoting new album ‘The Electric Age’, which will be released on March 27 this year. Read more about the band here.

Lake of Tears are a Swedish Gothic metal band founded in the early 1990s by Daniel Brennare, Jonas Eriksson, Mikael Larsson and Johan Oudhuis. The current line-up includes Daniel Brennare – Vocals/Guitar, Mikael Larsson – Bass, Johan Oudhuis – Drums, Fredrik Jordanius – Lead guitar. W.A.S.P. are an American heavy metal band formed in 1982, who’s career began with a series of live concerts. The band’s celebration tour this year includes the June 17 concert at OST Fest, and is made under the name ‘30 Years of Thunder’. More about the band here.

Tickets for the music festival in Romania cost between RON 90 and RON 500.
