Ovidiu Agliceru appointed new GM of Romania’s energy producer Hidroelectrica
Ovidiu Agliceru has taken over as general manager of Romania’s energy producer Hidroelectrica on June 23, his appointment being a decision of the company’s judicial administrator Euro Insol.
He replaced Mihail Stanculescu who could no longer perform his duties as general manager, due to medical reasons.
Agliceru has an experience of over 28 years in the energy sector. Between 1999 and 2000 he was the deputy technical director at Hidroelectrica’s headquarters.
From August 2013 until October the same year, he was member of Hidroelectrica’s board and in October he was appointed director of the Energy Production department.
Hidroelectrica re-entered insolvency at the beginning of this year due to a court decision in favor of the energy traders on an appeal they had made against the decision from June 2013 through which the reorganization procedure of Hidroelectrica was closed.
