Owner of Green hours club in Bucharest, accused of tax evasion

Voicu Rădescu, the owner of the Green Hours club in Bucharest, is being accused of tax evasion. Judges recently rejected the proposal to arrest him for 29 days after Radescu was taken into custody on Wednesday (August 29 )  for an alleged tax evasion of some EUR 50,000.

Prosecutors say Radescu did not register the sale of some products at the bar in his accounting.
Voicu Radescu, the brother of actor Vlad Radescu, is known as cultural manager. Green Hours hosts the show for the theater company Teatrul Luni, and is popular among quality music lovers.

Green Hours, one of the most popular jazz clubs in Bucharest, was set up in 1994, and for a long period, it was perceived as an underground kind of club, with blues, jazz, classical and alternative music shows.
