The owners of food supplement and cosmetics company Hofigal Bucuresti want to sell a stake of 35.5 percent in the company, for EUR 5 million.

According to data from the Trade Registry, 64.4 percent of the company is controlled by Stefan Manea, while a stake of 35.55 percent is held by Cristina Manea.

"The company has a number of valuable assets, such as land plots, equipment and buildings. It is also a healthy company in financial terms, which managed to record profit even in the times of financial crisis," said lawyer Maria Ilie, representative of the seller shareholder, reports local Wall-street.ro.

Hofigal was established in 1990 and currently has a portfolio of some 400 products. Last year, the company had a turnover of RON 31.1 million (EUR 7 million), up 18.5 percent year-on-year. Its profit also increased by 38.5 percent, to RON 4.42 million (EUR 1 million).
