Sonia Nastase, Nestle Nespresso Romania Country Manager, is the Meet the WOMAN! event speaker, organized by Women in Business in Bucharest on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at 19:00, at Capital Plaza Hotel. The event topic will be „Changing careers: challenges and opportunities”.

Meet the WOMAN! is a monthly business networking event for women entrepreneurs and women that work in companies and are specialists in a certain field of activity.

“Changing your job or your career is something almost everybody has to face at some point and has to properly manage. We have invited Sonia Nastase to share her experience with us, to tell us what challenges she had faced and how she had managed them”, stated Alice Botnarenco, Women in Business founder and president.

Between 2009 and October 2014 Sonia Nastase has been at the helm of Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Bucharest Hotel as General Manager, in charge of running the operations of the hotel and developing its business strategies.

She has a solid background in the hospitality industry, with over 15 years of multi-faceted experience, both in the operational area and in consultancy, with Trend Hospitality, where she was involved in developing the presence of two brands of Wyndham Hotel Group (Ramada and DaysInn) on the local market.

She started her career at World Trade Center Bucharest in 1996, as event and international fair organizer, then moved on to sales and marketing with Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest between 1997 – 2003 and then with Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Bucharest, as Director of Sales and Marketing since the opening of the hotel till 2006, when she stepped up to the consultancy area as Senior Associate at Trend Hospitality.

Founded in 2009 by Alice Botnarenco, the Women in Business organization develops projects which address entrepreneurs and women who work in companies.
