The countdown has begun. In just a few days, on the morning of the 22nd of November, participants, speakers, performers and volunteers of the 6th edition of TEDxBucharest, will decide not to hit the snooze button on a Saturday.

For the participants, the chance to experience multiple worlds through speeches held by professionals for whom genetics, artificial intelligence, strategic initiatives, travel, responsibility, play, innovation, personal development or expressivity are daily used words, will be too tempting.

For the speakers, performers and volunteers, it will be the opportunity to deliver what they have been passionately working on: a context for inspiration, analysis and sharing of ideas worth spreading.

This year’s event, centered on our impact to the future, brings on the same stage amazing people with diverse ambitions, such as:

• Perry Timms – Director & Founder PTHR,  Chartered MCIPD, aims to change the world one conversation at a time
• Anna Dumitriu – Bio-Artist, The Institute of Unnecessary Research, blurs the boundaries between art and science through her projects, having a strong interest in the ethical issues raised by emerging technologies
• Charley Ottley – Producer of Wild Carpathia, works to ensure environmental education becomes an integral part of the school syllabus for every school in Romania
• Rick Falkvinge – Founder of the Swedish Pirate Party, now a political evangelist for his ideas on freedom of speech and expression.
