Carlson Rezidor officially announces the new Park Inn hotel opening in Bucharest
The Carlson Rezidor group will open the first Park Inn by Radisson hotel in Romania in the fourth quarter of 2015, the group officially announced. The hotel, featuring 210 rooms, will be part of the first dual-branded hotel property run by Carlson Rezidor in Romania.
The Park Inn by Radisson Bucharest Hotel & Residence will adjoin the five-star Radisson Blu hotel in Bucharest, replacing the former Centre Ville aparthotel, which is currently undergoing renovation to turn into Park Inn.
Romania-Insider.com wrote about this opening and the investments by owner Bucuresti Turism here.
The new brand addresses the medium market, while Radisson Blu covers the upper – upscale segment.
“We are delighted to bring a Park Inn flagship to Romania, a country presenting many more opportunities for mid-scale properties in greater Bucharest and secondary cities. Building on the success of the well-performing Radisson Blu, the Park Inn will capture additional market segments and allow the use of synergies related to sales, marketing and operations”, said Wolfgang M. Neumann, President & CEO of Rezidor, upon announcing the opening.
Belgian-based Creneau International will design the Park Inn by Radisson Bucharest Hotel & Residence. The Rezidor Hotel Group will operate the hotel.
The hotel compound owner is a stock market listed company called Bucuresti Turism.
