ParkLake, a mall in Eastern Bucharest developed by Portuguese group Sonae Sierra and irish Caelum Development, has signed contracts with 13 new tenants this year.

The retailers that opened new stores in ParkLake include fashion retailers such as LC Waikiki and New Yorker, toy retailers, as well as restaurant operators and other service providers.

The biggest contracts include a 2,400 sqm LC Waikiki flagship store, a 1,400 sqm New Yorker store, and Kiddo Play Academy, a playground for children, which will occupy 1,200 sqm.

Other new brands include Laser Maxx, Noriel, Banca Transilvania, Karcher, Taco Bell, Sizeer, Cartoffisserie, AC & co (man fashion brand from Turkey) and Ana Dance Studio which offers dance classes for children. Altogether, the mall will have 7,300 sqm with new retail available.

The mall has a gross leasable area of 70,000 sqm with more than 200 shops, 25 restaurants and a multiplex cinema, as well as an underground parking with 2,450 spaces.
