Paul bakery chain wants two more stores in Bucharest this year

French bakery chain Paul plans to open two new stores this year and has a budget of EUR 800,000 for the new openings, according to Wall-street.ro. The bakery chain, which already runs three stores in Bucharest, is looking at both shopping center and street locations in Bucharest. For the future, the company plans to expand outside Bucharest as well, according to Carmen Lupulet, marketing manager with Paul.

The Paul bakeries are managed in Romania by Moulin D'Or, which posted a tunrover of EUR 2.75 million last year. 40 percent of its revenues came from the bakery shop in Dorobanti area of Bucharest, which was also the first one opened on the Romanian market. The turnover target for this year is of EUR 3.2 million.
