Payments denied by banks halve in August in Romania
Payments denied by banks almost halved in August – down 46%, compared to July, reaching RON 566.6 million (EUR 128 million), according to data reported to the Payment Incidents Register within the Central Bank BNR, cited by local Capital.
In September 2013, payments by debit instruments denied by banks stood at RON 577.7 million (EUR 130 million), above the level registered in August this year.
