Pfizer invests USD 5.4 mln in Ferrosan factory in Romania
Pharmaceutical company Pfizer is investing USD 5.4 million in its Ferrosan factory located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, reports local Capital. The company acquired this unit in December 2011 and since then the factory’s activity focused on packing food supplements.
Ferrosan currently has a packaging capacity of 6 million boxes per year, using the existing packaging equipment, and the company plans to gradually increase its capacity over the next 3 years. There are 124 people working at this factory and the number could increase depending on the unit’s level of development.
