Pioneer Investments hopes to raise couple of million euros from Romanian investors in new fund

Pioneer Investments has launched a new closed investment fund which placed money in corporate bonds on emerging markets and hopes to raise a couple of millions of euros from investors in Romania, according to Florin Dolea, executive president of Pioneer Asset Management.

The fund is estimated to reach EUR 500 million and will reach maturity at the end of 2016. Its target dividend is of 4.5 percent in euro per year until maturity, with the fund manager being allowed to change the value of the dividend in time.

Investors can subscribe to the Pioneer Funds - Emerging Markets Corporate Bond 2016 until June 6 this year through UniCredit Ţiriac Bank in Romania. The minimum subscription amount is of EUR 1,000, with a 2.5 percent subscription fee.

Pioneer Investments is part of the UniCredit Group and manages assets worth around USD 250 billion worldwide.
