Pixar co-founder comes to tech festival in Bucharest
Alvy Ray Smith, the co-founder of Pixar animation studio, will be one of the speakers present at the Unfinished Festival in Bucharest, an event that brings together creativity, technology, and business leaders and entrepreneurs.
The festival will be organized at Sala Dalles in Bucharest between May 25 and May 28. Its program will include keynote addresses, interactive panels, hands-on workshops, masterclasses, exhibitions, networking events, and concerts.
Alvy Ray Smith is an American pioneer of computer graphics. Besides being the co-founder of the famous animation studio Pixar, he also co-founded the Altamira Software Corporation, which was acquired by Microsoft in 1994.
Other speakers confirmed for the 2017 Unfinished Festival in Bucharest are Daniel Jones (The New York Times), Ian Daly (Tribeca Enterprises and WIRED UK), Virgil Abloh (Off-White and Kanye West’s creative director), Rob Fitzpatrick (author of The Mom Test), Radu Georgescu (GECAD), and Josh Begley (data artist & web developer).
