PM: Loan restructuring to be optional for banks and individuals, probably applied from July
Beginning in July, loan restructuring will become optional for banks and individuals under the conditions agreed with international financial institutions, according to the Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta, cited by Mediafax.
Restructuring population’s loans implies tax cuts, but only after the expiration of the two-year rescheduling period.
The restructuring operation must cumulatively meet several requirements, first of them restricting the application only to loans without delays in payments, or with delays of no more than 90 days.
