Police searches homes of suspects in 25-kilo gold theft in Romania
Police started searching the homes of several suspects in Bucharest, Ilfov and Teleorman on Wednesday morning (June 27 ), targeting suspects who allegedly stole two safes from a store in Bucur Obor area containing over 25 kilograms of gold in 2010, according to the Bucharest Police. Suspects will be brought to hearing.
Back in 2010, the incident happened around 3,00 in the night, when thieves forced entrance doors to the shop and stole two safes with almost 25 kilograms of gold from the Obor store.
The theft took place three weeks after the business owners were warned by the Police that they did not have adequate security measures.
