Polish discounter Pepco to enter Romanian market
Pepco, the largest discount retailer for clothes and household products in Poland, plans aggressive expansion in Romania.
On the short-term, the retailer wants to open 10 stores in large and medium cities in Romania, the first unit being scheduled for opening in the first quarter of 2015, company officials told local Economica.net.
According to recruitment announcements published by the company, Pepco stores will be opened in Bucharest, Alba Iulia, Deva, Media, Braila, Buzau, Slobozia, Campina, Ploiesti and Targu Jiu.
