Polish investment fund Carpathia Capital acquired a 10% stake in Romanian IT services provider IT Bittnet Systems, for EUR 150,000.
Carpathia Capital wants to invest in 10-15 IT companies that will list their businesses on the Bucharest Stock Exchange’s alternative trading system AeRO.
The company is ready to invest over EUR 1.57 million in Romanian small and medium enterprises.
It estimates that its capital will increase up to EUR 2.2 million by June this year, said Pawel Sliwinski, general director with Carpathia Capital.
The local courier company Delivery Solutions and Carpathia Capital were the first two companies listed on AeRO at the end of February.
