Pop singer Amerie to perform for the first time in Romania this April

Amerie, one of the most popular pop divas in America will hold a live show for the first time in Romania, in capital city Bucharest on April 23 in Bamboo Club (50 Tuzla St.). Amerie is an American singer, songwriter, producer and actress who debuted in 2002 with the album “All I have”. In 2005, Amerie released her biggest hit to date “1 Thing”, the lead single from her second album “Touch” with witch she earned two Grammy Award nominations. Her third album, “Because I love it” achieved moderate international success in 2007, although it was not released in North America. She released her fourth studio album, “In love & war” in 2009.

In 2003, Amerie won the Soul Train Award for Best R&B/Soul or Rap New Artist and was also nominated for Best Female R&B/Soul Single with "Why Don't We Fall in Love” and Best Female R&B/Soul Album with “All I Have”.

The singer is currently in the studio working on her fifth studio album “Cymatika Vol. 1”, to be released in 2011. The album title is based on the word cymatics, the study of visible sound and vibration. More about the artist.
