Portuguese singer Dulce Pontes returns to Romania this fall

Portuguese singer Dulce Pontes, also known as the contemporary queen of fado music, will return to Romania this fall. Her gig will take place at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, on October 27.

Dulce Pontes previously played for her Romanian fans in February last year.

The singer was born in 1969 in Montijo, Portugal. She performs in many musical styles, including pop, folk, and classical music. In 1991, she won the Portugal music festival with her song Lusitana Paixão, which led her to represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest. She finished eighth in the competition.

Dulce Pontes has collaborated with important artists such as Cesaria Evora, Caetano Veloso, Marisa Monte, Carlos Nunez, or Andrea Bocelli. More about the Portuguese artist on her official website here.

Tickets for the concert in Romania cost between RON 50 and RON 250 and can be purchased from Librarium and Eminescu bookshops, Sala Palatului, Flanco, Domo, Vodafone, Orange, and Carrefour stores, and Palatul National al Copiilor.
