Pro TV owner brings EUR 15 mln in capital increase

International media group Central European Media Enterprises (CME), which owns the Romanian TV station Pro TV, has decided to increase the company’s capital with almost EUR 15 million.

Pro TV now has a share capital of EUR 86.6 million, reports local Profit.ro.

CME posted net revenues of USD 77.5 million in Romania in the first half of the year, down 10% year-on-year.

CME, which is a media company operating in six major markets in CEE, holds several TV stations in Romania, including Pro TV and MTV Romania. It recently sold the local cinema studios MediaPro to a group of investors, which includes film producers from the USA and Romania.
