Producer of famous Romanian Topoloveni plum jam opens Bucharest shop
Sonimpex Topoloveni, the producer of the famous Topoloveni Plum Jam (magiun), recently opened a store in Bucharest’s District 2.
Located at the intersection between Carol I Blvd. and Calea Mosilor, the store sells plum jam, vegetable mix called zacusca, tomato paste and other products within the Topoloveni brand.
“We open this store because we want to give consumers a place where they can find our products at the best prices, to be sure of the quality of what they buy,” said Bibiana Stanciulov, general manager of Sonimpex Topoloveni, quoted by local Agerpres.
The new store will stay open from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 20:00, and Saturday between 9:00 and 17:00.
The Topoloveni plum jam (“Magiunul de prune Topoloveni”) has become one of the 1,000 products included in the European quality system in 2011, after it was included in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications, according to the European Commission.
