Romania’s General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) wants to allot some EUR 20.5 million to acquire protection equipment for firefighters.
The inspectorate will buy suits, gloves and safety belts, reports News.ro. It needs between 2,000 and 25,000 units from each item.
The four-year agreement contract is estimated at RON 94.3 million (EUR 20.5 million), VAT included. The money will come from the state budget.
The framework agreement will be followed by several subsequent contracts. These will be granted every year, semester or quarter, depending on the institution’s funds.
