Qatar Airways, Pegasus Airlines, Wataniya Airways to operate flights to Romania

Three Arabian airlines and a Turkish one will start operating flights to and from Romania in 2011, according to Romanian publication Capital. Qatar Airways has announced it will run four flights from Doha to Bucharest and return every week next year. Ticket prices will stay around EUR 539 and the flight will take around four hours and a half.

Pegasus Airlines, a Turkish airline, will run the Bucharest – Istanbul flight, going to Istanbul's second airport, Gokcen.  Wataniya Airways, the newest airline operator in Kuweit, will run flight to an from Romania. Emirates, one of the largest airlines in the world, is currently analyzing the market entry in Romania, with a Doha – Budapest flight in plan. Romania would thus be a transit market for the company, according to Capital.ro.
