Queen’s lead guitarist Brian May to perform in two Bucharest concerts this year
Brian May, the lead guitarist of legendary rock band Queen, will hold two concerts in Bucharest this year.
The first one is scheduled to take place at Sala Palatului in Bucharest on March 14. In this concert, which is part of the artist’s One Voice tour, Brian May will go on stage with English actress and singer Kerry Ellis. Tickets cost between RON 136 (some EUR 30) and RON 487 (EUR 108) and can be purchased online here.
On June 21, the famous guitarist will return to Bucharest for Queen + Adam Lambert’s gig in Constitutiei Square. Queen + Adam Lambert represents a collaboration between the active members of the well-known British band Queen and American vocalist Adam Lambert. Tickets for the Bucharest concert cost between RON 141 (over EUR 30) and RON 597 (some EUR 133) and can be purchased online here.
Brian May was a founding member of Queen with lead singer Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor. He is also seen as one of the greatest guitarists of all times. In 2005, a Planet Rock poll saw May voted the 7th greatest guitarist of all times. He was also ranked No. 26 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”.
