Raiffeisen Asset Management names new GM in Romania
Raiffeisen Asset Management (RAM) will have a new general manager from January next year, according to the company. Razvan Szilagyi, which is currently the sales director of Raiffeisen Bank’s treasury division, will replace the current general manager Mihail Ion, who will remain chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.
Ion will also take over the leadership of the Direction for Medium Companies and Public Sector within the Corporate Banking division.
Razvan Szilagyi has been with Raiffeisen for 11 years. Besides his position in the bank, he is also a member of CFA Romania, after obtaining the CFA authorization in 2006. Szilagyi's CV on LinkedIn is here.
Mihail Ion has joined Raiffeisen Bank in 2002 as a chief-economist. He then led the Management of Assets department and has been RAM’s general manager since its inception. Ion is also the president of CFA Romania.
