Renault brings Frenchman to manage Dacia car plant in Romania

Frenchman Christophe Dridi took over as manager of the Dacia car factory in Mioveni, Romania.

Dridi, who previously managed the Renault car plant in Tangier, Morocco, will coordinate the production of Dacia models in Romania and a team of 7,200 people.

He replaced Romanian Cornel Olendraru, who was recently promoted as industrial manager for Eurasia within Renault group, after having managed the Dacia plant for three years. Oleandru will coordinate the group’s industrial and logistic operations in Russia, Romania, and Turkey.

Christophe Dridi graduated from the Ecole Supérieures des Sciences et Technologies de l’Ingénieur in Nancy, France, and has an MBA degree in global management from INSEAD. He has been working within Renault group since 1993.
