Carmaker Renault brought for the first time in Romania, Kangoo Express and Fluence Z.E. models, which are 100 percent electric powered. Staring the end of 2011, the two models will be sold for EUR 21,000 for the first model, and EUR 15,000 for the second one. The Romanian Environment Minister Laszlo Borbely had the first test drive of a Renault ZE model in Romania on Monday.

Renault Fluence Z.E. is placed in the high-segment of the sedan class. The model will be sold starting autumn 2011 in France and has a starting price of EUR 21,300 including all taxes. In Europe, the price is of around EUR 26,000, including all taxes, according to the VAT rules in every country. Also, customers will be able to do a monthly rental of the battery with a minimum price of EUR 79, with a 48-month contract and a maximum annual journey of 10,000 km.

Renault Kangoo Express will be sold starting this fall, first in France, at a price starting at EUR 15,000 and starting from EUR 20,000 in Europe. The car has a electric motor power of 60 HP.

Renault officials have announced that the company will launch four electric vehicles on the international markets from autumn 2011 until mid 2012.
