Renault Romania appoints new acquisitions director
Brazilian Flavio de Almeida Junior has become the new director of acquisitions of Renault Romania starting September this year, replacing Antoine Aoun.
Flavio de Almeida Junior, 48, has a 25-year experience in engineering and in the car parts industry. He was mostly active in the French and Brazilian car market.
His department manages purchases of about EUR 2 billion per year. It is responsible for the procurement of raw materials, parts, machinery equipment and services for all the companies within the Renault Romania group. The department has 130 employees who are responsible for the relationship with 1,000 suppliers in Romania.
