Former Republica factory in Bucharest is out for sale for a price starting EUR 48.5 million in a bid which will take place on March 31. The assets on sale include a 25.8 – hectare piece of land and 133 buildings, mostly industrial ones, which sit on 7.8 hectares of land. Republica has been in bankruptcy procedures for five years and is being liquidated by RVA Insolvency Specialists (director Teodor Nicolae). Republica holds EUR 62 million in debt.
