Italian retailer Calzedonia will open its first store in Romania in April this year, in a street location in Romana Square in Bucharest. The retailer has rented 200 sqm of retail space, according to Cushman&Wakefield, which intermediated the lease.

The retailer's development plan for the next two years includes the opening of more store mainly in Bucharest, in street locations and in shopping centers, followed by other cities in Romania. Calzedonia was founded in 1987 close to Verona, in Vallese di Oppeano. The Calzedonia network currently includes more than 1.300 shops throughout the world.
