Retailer Profi has opened its first ice supermarket in Bucharest, Romania. Around 80 tonnes of transparent ice were processed to become the walls of the Profi Ice Shop, which covers 150 sqm, according to the local media.

Located in the central George Enescu square, the shop offers more than 500 products to its customers and will stay open daily until December 24, from 15:00 to 21:00.

For the store to remain in perfect condition throughout the project, the inside temperature is maintained at maximum 5 degrees Celsius.

Profi Rom Food is one of the largest supermarket chains in Romania, currently operating over 190 Profi stores across the country.
