RICS Romania starts training sessions – first one next Tuesday on real estate investments

The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the Romanian chapter has started to organize a series of training sessions under the Continuous Professional Development program, with a first event set to take place next Tuesday, May 18th.

This first training session will be hosted by Gijs Klomp, head of ING Real Estate Investment Management in Romania and Hungary (in picture). He will explore the investment world of real estate through bond, stock, among others.

The training session will take place between 16,00 and 20,00 hours in Romana Square, 32-34 Magheru Boulevard. The cost of participating to a session is of EUR 20 without VAT. To register or get more details about the event, email Anna Orcsik at aorcsik@rics.org by May 17th.

The CPD sessions are designed to support RICS’s members to fulfill their yearly educational hours and to offer the trainees or applicants for RICS path a contact with the professional world of real estate.

RICS' training program for the year includes a session on valuation scheduled for June, one on real estate accountancy in September and another one on legal matters for October. The November session will be about real estate commercial best practices and the December one, about construction and project management.
