Romania borrows EUR 500 mln in three-year bonds
Romania's Finance Ministry recently attracted some EUR 502 million in three-year bonds, which was three times more than the targeted value. The yield for these bonds is of 3.14 percent a year, which is the lowest yield so far for three-year maturity bonds. Subscriptions went up to EUR 807 million for this bonds issuance.
Romania's Finance Ministry announced it had plans to borrow up to EUR 4.4 billion in the first quarter of the year on the domestic market, of which some EUR 1 billion in January alone. By the end of the month, the Finance Ministry plans another bonds issuance of some EUR 133 million, with a ten year maturity.
