The Romanian Aviation celebrates on July 20 the Aviation and Air Forces Day. On this occasion, military and religious ceremonies, sport competitions, conferences and other activities will be organized in the country.

On July 19, at Campia Turzii, soldiers from the “General Emanoil Ionescu” 71 Air Base will organize an Open Day event between 09,00 and 16,00. According to a statement of the Ministry of Defense, the program includes exhibitions and demonstration flights.

On July 20, an Open Day event will also be organized at "Gheorghe Bănciulescu" military base in Otopeni, near Bucharest, between 09,00 and 15:30. Also, visitors can attend the exhibitions with military themes and watch the demonstration flights. A parade will be organizes at the Aviatorilor statue in Bucharest on the same day, in the afternoon.

The access at the events is free of charge.
