Romania could get more tourists from Israel
Romania could receive more tourists from Israel this summer, after the number of weekly charter flights from Israel to Romania will grow to at least eleven.
About eight weekly charters flew to Romania last year. Israeli tourists thus ranked second among foreign tourists who visited Romania, surpassed only by Germans.
However, at least three new weekly charters will fly from Israel to Oradea, on the Romanian seaside and in Bucharest, reports local Profit.ro. The number of Israeli tourists could thus become higher than the number of Germans visiting Romania this year, said Anca Nedea, president of the National Tourism Authority (ANT).
Seven of the 11 charter flights will go to Bucharest, three to Constanta and one in Oradea. The eight charters brought 15,000 Israelis last year.
