Romania exports food products worth EUR 360 mln in January
Romania exported food products totaling EUR 360.8 million in January this year, up 44 percent (or some EUR 109.3 million) against the same period in 2013, according to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development MADR, quoted by Agerpres.
In January, most of the export revenues were generated by the 291,000 tonnes of corn, which brought EUR 86.8 million, reports Agerpres. Also, exports of wheat, of about 294,300 tonnes, brought a total of EUR 60.6 million, an increase of 152 percent compared to January 2013.
