Romania targets 10GW green generation capacity by 2027
Romania seeks to reach 10 GW of installed capacity based on renewable resources by 2027, energy minister Virgil Popescu announced, according to Economica.net.
For this, 3 GW will be added within the next two to three years.
But all these projects need the evacuation of energy from the eastern part of the country to the west by a DC cable, he stressed.
"We are in discussions with European partners, with Emirates partners to be able to start this project. I am convinced we are very close to reaching an agreement", said Virgil Popescu.
