Romania has over 204,000 companies with foreign capital
The number of companies with foreign capital in Romania grew by 2.7% between January and November last year, to over 204,000.
At the end of December 2014, the country had over 198,600 companies with foreign capital.
The value of their subscribed capital amounted to over EUR 42 billion in November last year.
Some 428 new businesses with foreign capital were registered in November last year. Their share capital reached EUR 467,000. Most of them were set in Bucharest (162), Timis county (34) and Ilfov (30).
Most of the new enterprises registered in November were set up by Italian investors (123), German investors (29), and Turkish investors (26).
