Romania pays over EUR 122 mln in special pensions
About 8,300 beneficiaries of special pensions, such as former judges, diplomats, parliamentary clerks or external collaborators of the Court of Auditors, received pensions of over RON 691 million (EUR 152.4 million) last year, reports local Profit.ro.

Most of them were judges or prosecutors (almost 3,300 people), auxiliary staff in courts (1,701 people), followed by civil aviation personnel (1,406 people). Some 779 former diplomats also received special pensions.
