Romania ranks 6th in EU for rise in industrial producer prices
Romania ranked sixth in the European Union for the increase in industrial producer prices in June, compared to the previous month.
Romania had a 0.1% growth, whereas Spain posted the highest increase in industrial producer prices, of 0.9%. Estonia ranked second (0.6%), followed by Hungary (0.5%).
The index fell by 0.1% in the European Union and the Eurozone, according to EU’s statistical office Eurostat.
The most significant drops were recorded in Lithuania (-1.5%) and Denmark, Slovakia and Sweden (-0.9%).
The industrial producer prices fell by 1.8% in Romania in June compared to the same period last year, whereas the index dropped by 2.7% in the European Union and by 2.2% in the Eurozone year-on-year.
