Romania ranks first in the world in a top of free WiFi in hotels
With a rate of 99 percent, Romania ranks first in the world on the percentage of hotels that offer clients free WiFi, according to a study conducted by KAYAK. The rate in Romania was similar to the one in Vietnam, while only two other European countries, namely Poland and Slovakia, made it in top ten.
Romania is followed by Vietnam - 99 percent, Taiwan - 98 percent, Cambodia - 98 percent, Poland - 98 percent, Morocco - 98 percent, Slovakia - 98 percent, Japan - 97 percent, Colombia - 97 percent and Montenegro - 97 percent.
Globally, 90 percent of the hotels currently offer free WiFi.
