Romania registers largest drop in construction work in the EU
Romania registered the largest decrease in construction work among the EU member states in October, compared to September 2014, according to data from Eurostat.
Among member states, the largest decreases in construction work were registered in Romania – minus 6.1% and the UK – minus 2.2%. In the euro area, construction work increased by 1.3%, while the growth in the EU28 was of 0.4%.
Romania also registered the largest decrease when compared to October 2013, of minus 11.3%.
