The Romanian Government decided on Tuesday, April 7, to allocate EUR 45 million to help farmers.

The Executive will use these funds to grant transitional national aid in the vegetable sector for the 2014 campaign and the livestock sector, for bovines.

With the money, the Government will also pay the state aid for the diesel the farmers used in the fourth quarter of 2014 and the first quarter of this year.

It will also fund the minimis aid for the vegetable farms registered in the organic farming system.

The budget law for 2015 approved commitments and budgetary loans for the Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry.
