Romania will switch back to winter time, or Eastern Europe Time, onthe night between Saturday, October 29, and Sunday, October 30, when 04:00 hours will become 03:00 hours. Thus, Sunday will be longer day of the year.
Switching to winter time will not change the train schedule, according to the railways company CFR. The passenger trains will depart according to the official summer time by 04:00 hours, while those scheduled to depart after 04,00 will leave according to the official train schedule calculated according to the winter time.
Considering that the Romanian neighboring countries also turn to the Eastern Europe Time on the same day, the trains will run according to the schedules in force between the border stations with the Republic of Moldova, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine and Bulgaria.
