Romania will host this year, for the first time, the Zoom8 European Championships, a sailing event organized between April 15 and April 19, 2014, reports local Agerpres. The competition will take place in Romania’s seaside resort Constanta.

The championship is organized by the Romanian Regal Yacht Club together with the Romanian Sailing Federation and Constanta City Hall.

Five Romanian athletes from major sailing clubs in the country and 21 athletes from Estonia, Austria, Denmark, Finland and Russia will participate at the event, according to Agerpres.
