Romania to spend EUR 178,000 to take part in the Eurovision competiton this year
The Romanian Television TVR’s Board of Directors recently approved Romania’s participation at the Eurovision 2014 Song Contest to be held in Copenhagen this May, as well as a budget of some EUR 178,000, reports local Wall-street.ro.
The duo made of Paula Seling and Ovidiu Cernauteanu – stage name Ovi – will represent Romania at this year’s edition of Eurovision. Listen the song here.
The 2014 Eurovision song contest will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on May 6, May 8 and May 10. The show will be broadcasted live in Romania at TVR.
Romania will enter in the second semi-final of the contest scheduled for May 8. The final will be organized on May 10.
